This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of large, strategic accounts within the Fenestration industry, driving revenue growth and increasing account penetration. The Senior Strategic Accounts Manager will develop long-term customer relationships and require strong strategic planning and consultative selling capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of large strategic accounts to achieve revenue and market share goals
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer business objectives
- Identify growth opportunities and expand share-of-wallet within each account
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership success
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to deliver customized solutions
- Foster a collaborative internal team environment to support growth and customer needs
- Monitor account performance and analyze data to inform strategic adjustments
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and project agreements for mutually beneficial outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and updates in CRM and other sales tools
Requirements
- 6-8 years of sales experience with OEM customers
- Strong consultative and solution-based selling experience
- Effective and persuasive verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Self-motivated and data-driven with strong decision-making capability
- Commitment to quality, customer service, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 6-8 years of sales experience with OEM customers, ideally in plastics processing or custom engineered products
