Senior Specialist, Manufacturing Engineer (Automation Engineer)

About This Role

As a Senior Specialist, Manufacturing Engineer (Automation Engineer), you'll manage complex projects related to the design, build, installation, and validation of new automation for manufacturing processes. You will generate scope of work documentation and develop control solutions for automation needs.

Responsibilities

• Generate scope of work (SOW) documentation for purchasing new automation
• Project manage equipment design, build, installation and validation of new automation
• Receive Scope of Work from Manufacturing Engineers and develop a controls solution to address the scope of work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering
• Minimum 6 years of prior relevant engineering experience (or 4 years with a Graduate Degree, or 10 years in lieu of a degree)

Nice to Have

• Experience automating solid rocket motor manufacturing processes
• Experience with automating manual manufacturing processes
• Experience developing SOWs
