Join the Core Experiences Team to build and maintain foundational services and SDKs across platforms, focusing on the intersection of product and infrastructure. This role requires strategic thinking to design clear, reliable APIs and simple systems that enhance user experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects, reduce scope for faster feedback, and navigate integration/UX tradeoffs to deliver solutions via cross-platform SDK
- Optimize existing functionality to improve loading speeds and parsing intelligence through efficient abstractions and improved algorithms
- Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin
Requirements
- Systems thinking for end-to-end design and valuing simplicity
- Ability to generate ideas, options, and decide what to ship quickly
- Focus to engage or work heads-down in a high-growth, remote startup environment
- Collaboration skills to inspire, play, and negotiate with designers, marketers, and PMs
Nice to Have
- Kotlin Multiplatform (Java experience acceptable)
- Prior experience with GCP
