This Senior Software Engineer will lead the end-to-end development of features, focusing on integrating customer-facing AI and agentic workflows into PEX's business expense management platform. The role involves collaborating with product and design, ensuring scalability and security, and driving engineering excellence for a platform serving millions of users.
Responsibilities
- Own features end-to-end, from design through rollout, including customer interaction to shape product decisions
- Lead the integration of customer-facing AI or agentic workflows to enhance the platform with the latest AI capabilities
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to shape product direction and ideate on new features
- Act as an end-to-end owner of features, ensuring they are scalable, innovative, and market-leading
- Contribute to high-quality code reviews, ensuring a high bar for engineering excellence
- Drive DevOps practices and production monitoring for stability and performance of the global platform
- Utilize AI tools and frameworks to accelerate development cycles and improve team productivity
- Ensure features are supported through all stages of the SDLC, from inception to post-launch support
- Apply a deep understanding of security best practices and frameworks (OWASP) to the development lifecycle
- Work within the core stack (C#/.NET, Angular, SQL Server/NoSQL) to build secure, robust, and scalable fintech solutions
- Partner with the broader engineering team to ensure system architecture meets or exceeds industry standards for data privacy and security
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience
- Experience integrating customer-facing AI or agentic workflows into production environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of security frameworks and best practices (OWASP)
- Customer-focused with willingness to work directly with customers
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience, ideally within a B2B SaaS or Fintech environment
Nice to Have
- Experience in a high-growth environment scaling platforms for millions of users
- Proficient with the latest versions of .NET, C#, and Angular
- Mastery of working with data in platforms like SQL Server, MongoDB, and Redis
- Comfortable working in cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
- Familiarity with messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus
