Join the Core Experiences Team to build and maintain foundational services and SDKs that power Speechify's product experience across platforms, directly enhancing user experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects and reduce scope for faster customer feedback
- Navigate integration/UX tradeoffs relevant to different product teams
- Deliver solutions via cross-platform SDK
- Optimize existing functionality to ship faster loading and more intelligent parsing
- Design more efficient abstractions and improve algorithms
- Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin
Requirements
- Systems thinking
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Focus and ability to engage or work heads-down in a high-growth startup
- Collaboration skills to inspire and negotiate with designers, marketers, and PMs
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (Java experience is acceptable)
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with GCP
