The Senior Software Engineer (Automation) will play a pivotal role in advancing Wells Fargo's Payment Operations technology landscape, specifically in Wires Operations and Payment Investigations. This position focuses on shaping mission-critical systems that support global payments infrastructure and driving innovation in testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Document test cases and risk research and create test plans
- Record test progress and results
- Perform manual and automated testing
- Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
- Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes
- Partner with Engineers to develop testing strategy
- Log, track and verify resolution of software and specification defects
- Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced staff
Requirements
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
- 2+ years working in an Agile Scrum team
Qualifications
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. 2+ years working in an Agile Scrum team.
Nice to Have
- 2+ years of experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium or similar frameworks
- 2+ years hands-on usage of CI/CD tooling (Jenkins and uDeploy for example)
- 2+ years of experience with Java
- 2+ years of experience with Pega Smart Investigate
