Senior Sales Manager

About This Role

Lead profitable sales growth in Southern California by developing market and account plans to focus our sales team and independent manufacturer representatives on key opportunities within the mechanical contractors, engineers, plumbing contractors, and builders segments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure achievement of annual sales and gross profit goals by leading the regional factory and agents’ sales team in developing and executing sales strategies by account for specified customer segments: distribution, residential, and commercial
• Provide ongoing coaching and development to the sales team on market knowledge, product knowledge, and selling skills
• Schedule and hold regular one on one meetings, joint field travel, and team meetings
• Utilize Salesforce.com as a tool to manage the business, conduct regular pipeline reviews, and monitor individual utilization of Salesforce.com
• Provide key forecast information to the business through Salesforce.com opportunity details
• Recruit, interview, select and onboard new Territory Sales Managers to the team as needed
• Develop and maintain executive level relationships with key customers
• Leverage relationships to provide market insights to the business

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5-7 years related experience
• Knowledge of major account selling
• Knowledge of the construction market
• Excellent communication, planning and presentation skills
