As a Senior Sales Manager, you will serve as an expert user of Circana’s retailer gateways, demonstrating incremental value to suppliers and translating these insights into compelling sales materials and client demonstrations. You will lead presentations and pitches to clients, manage contractual matters, and perform post-sales activities to support financial reporting and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop a proficient level of expertise in the Unify platform across all available data models (POS & Panel, Supply Chain, Member / Customer data, Audience Building)
- Proactively identify, target, and communicate with client prospects who are not maximizing access to POS and Panel data
- Create and maintain written and recorded sales materials demonstrating the value of gateway programs
- Prepare and deliver sales pitches and dynamic sales demonstrations of gateways to clients in one-to-one and group settings
- Manage contract red-lines for clients and own the signing process
- Work with client teams to efficiently close deals
- Manage client non-payment escalations from the Finance team
- Handle occasional escalated client service complaints
- Manage the Third Party Agreement process for certain clients
- Support manager in financial forecasting and tracking
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years background in CPG, Grocery, Mass Merchandising, Drug Store or Club Retail
- Experience working with at least two of the following: retailer POS, supply chain or loyalty data
- Commercial acumen
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Excellent in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 7 years background in CPG, Grocery, Mass Merchandising, Drug Store or Club Retail
