This role is for a consultative sales executive responsible for expanding the commercial carrier, MGA, and program business pipeline, meeting annual sales goals, and implementing company strategies for Origami Risk's core solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strong pipeline of prospective commercial policy and claims administration customers through various prospecting activities
- Consult with prospective customers to clearly understand and define their needs
- Leverage industry knowledge to offer advice and perspective to prospective clients during the sales process
- Prepare price proposals and statements of work reflecting client needs and Origami's capabilities
- Confirm or estimate potential strong competitors on each opportunity and devise a strategy to compare Origami successfully
- Network with brokers, risk managers, and other members of the risk management and insurance community to identify prospects
Requirements
- 7+ years of direct sales experience
- Experience selling policy and/or claims SaaS solutions into P&C insurance carriers
- Familiarity with a highly consultative sales process (e.g., MEDDPICC)
- Understanding of commercial insurance
Qualifications
- 7+ years of direct sales experience, preferably selling SaaS and/or RMIS solutions
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com CRM
