Senior Research Associate

About This Role

Conduct research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experiments to support Ventana projects, focusing on product surveillance in a 50% lab, 50% technical documentation role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research, development and manufacturing laboratory experimentation and other scientific activities to support Ventana projects
• Exercise technical expertise and discretion in the design, execution and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project strategies
• Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses
• Present and discuss results of experiments within department and project team
• Maintain high level of professional expertise through familiarity with scientific literature and may participate in conferences and professional societies
• Follow company policies and procedures for GMP, GLP, Design Control and others as appropriate
• Maintain complete and accurate laboratory documentation and electronic files
• May act as principal investigator in conducting own experiments
• Assist with product surveillance activities by testing assays on instrumentation to ensure they meet criteria from when they’re released

Requirements

• Must be okay with repetitive testing
• Strong wet lab experience (recent)
• Strong documentation and writing experience
• Ability to take initiative and work independently

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in a relevant field
• 6+ years relevant post-grad experience with a BS, 3+ years with an MS, or recent PhD
