Senior Research Associate

About This Role

Conduct research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experimentation to support Ventana projects for a pharmaceutical client. Exercise technical expertise in experimental design, execution, and interpretation, contributing to project strategies and maintaining high professional expertise.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research, development and manufacturing laboratory experimentation and other scientific activities to support Ventana projects
• Exercise technical expertise and discretion in the design, execution and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project strategies
• Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses
• Present and discuss results of experiments within department and project team
• Maintain high level of professional expertise through familiarity with scientific literature
• Follow company policies and procedures for GMP, GLP, Design Control and others as appropriate
• Maintain complete and accurate laboratory documentation and electronic files
• Design experimental plan to support project objectives
• Execute bench experiments; make detailed and general observations and analyze data
• Identify and implement improvements to work processes and laboratory environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in science
• 6+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree
• Ideal experience with wet lab and biological techniques
• Working in a regulated environment
• Knowledge of a wide range of experimental techniques and skilled in their applications
• Able to act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
• Capable of searching scientific literature to gain general and specific information
• Skilled with word processing, spreadsheets, graphical and presentation software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in science
• 6+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or less than 1 year with a Master's degree
