Senior Product Strategy Learning Consultant - Tax Transformation

About This Role

The Senior, Product Strategy Learning Consultant defines and evolves enablement strategies for tax technology products and process changes within Deloitte's Tax Transformation Office. This role focuses on translating complex tax and technology changes into role-based training assets and ensuring alignment with transformation outcomes like adoption and utilization. The consultant will also manage the end-to-end lifecycle for enablement content and coordinate learning workstreams to maximize engagement and readiness for Tax professionals.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve Tax Transformation enablement strategy for priority tax technology products and process changes
• Translate complex tax and technology changes into role-based, task-based enablement assets at scale across virtual, in-person, and digital modalities
• Ensure enablement plans align to transformation outcomes (e.g., adoption, utilization, compliance) and adjust approach based on measured performance
• Plan and manage the end-to-end lifecycle for enablement content (intake, scope, schedule, resources, reviews, approvals, launch readiness)
• Support content governance (taxonomy, templates, metadata, review cadence, versioning, retirement) and partner to maximize findability and usability
• Coordinate the learning workstream: consolidate weekly status, monitor milestones, surface issues/risks/decisions, maintain project plans in Smartsheet, coordinate team meetings
• Perform continuous improvement activities: conduct spot checks for quality/consistency, assess learning effectiveness

Requirements

• Ability to perform responsibilities in a hybrid work environment (2-3 days per week onsite)
• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
• 3+ years translating complex changes into role-based enablement plans and assets
• Proficiency creating learning content using Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
• Proficiency maintaining project trackers and reports using Excel and SharePoint
• Experience coordinating multi-workstream programs and maintaining plans in Smartsheet or similar for at least 12 months
• Ability to travel 20% on average
• One of the following active accreditations: Licensed CPA (if eligible), Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, PgMP, PMP, Lean Six Sigma (Green, Black, or Master Black Belt)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Leadership, Instructional Design/Instructional Technology, or other relevant discipline
• 3+ years translating process/technology changes into role-based enablement plans and assets aligned to defined adoption/utilization outcomes

Nice to Have

• Experience working within or alongside tax or finance functions in a professional services firm for at least 1 year
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation initiatives involving technology adoption or process improvement for at least 1 full release cycle
• Experience with stakeholder measurement and adoption analytics using defined KPIs
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project for at least 1 year
• Experience creating or maintaining digital learning in Articulate Rise and/or Storyline for at least 6 months
