Senior Product Manager

About This Role

Join the Microsoft Sentinel Platform team to define and deliver capabilities for a unified, scalable, and intelligent security data platform. This role involves working with engineering and design to shape data ingestion, normalization, retention, and querying across multiple modalities.

Responsibilities

• Create and drive the product area vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Manage cross-team partnerships and relationships to establish a shared vision
• Obsess about customer and partner needs, informed by data and feedback
• Represent the effort within the organization and with external/internal partners across Microsoft
• Collaborate closely with partners to create powerful, impactful solutions
• Orchestrate cross-org execution with engineering, applied science, design, and partner product teams
• Support go-to-market readiness by partnering with marketing on communications
• Represent Microsoft and the product externally with customers and partners
• Embody Microsoft's Culture and Values

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements (Microsoft Cloud Background Check)

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development

• 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
• 2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market
• 4+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market
• 4+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience
• Proven track record of working with partners, developing relationships, and using empathy to understand and capture requirements
• History of successfully working with developers and technology partners to drive product deliverables
• Ability to quickly come up to speed on a variety of technologies
• Outstanding spoken and written communication skills and ability to present to executive leadership
