Senior Product Architect

About This Role

Serve as a Senior Product/Solution Architect, taking a hands-on approach to high-visibility projects and driving the modern product technology strategy, roadmap, and implementation for Deloitte's product engineering teams. This role focuses on delivering customer-centric solutions and tangible business value.

Responsibilities

• Craft and articulate a vision for modern product architecture in alignment with business and Deloitte Technology strategies
• Collaborate with product, engineering, experience, delivery, security, and infrastructure stakeholders
• Advocate for, develop, and communicate integrated architecture/technology strategy to product engineering teams and business stakeholders
• Define, measure, and drive achievement of KPIs and NFRs related to product architecture and engineering (performance, scalability, maintainability)
• Establish and evolve product architecture and engineering domain reference architecture, standards, and best practices
• Actively engage in design, architecture, and code, contributing to team velocity and engaging with engineers across SSDLC
• Coach and develop engineers in modern architecture and engineering practices like microservices, cloud-native design, containers, AI/ML/GenAI, and DevSecOps
• Embrace an iterative and incremental approach to product architecture and engineering, ensuring alignment with customer and business goals
• Focus on addressing critical customer issues and minimizing unnecessary technical complexities
• Establish and evolve reference architectures, coding standards, and best architecture/engineering practices to manage technical and quality risks

Requirements

• 15+ years experience with programming languages like Angular, React, NodeJS, Python, Streamlit, C#, .NET Core, Golang, SQL/NoSQL, unit testing frameworks
• 8+ years experience in architecting enterprise solutions on modern technology stacks
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-native engineering, using FaaS/PaaS/micro-services on cloud hyper-scalers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud-native services (API Management, Event Hub, Service Bus, Functions, Service Mash, Logic Apps, AKS, Batch, Istio, Archive Storage, Data Lakes, Synapse, SQL, Redis, CosmosDB, DocumentDB, PowerBI, Key Vault, Application Insights)

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years proven experience with programming languages and modern frameworks, actively engaged in software architecture craft.

Nice to Have

• An advanced degree (e.g., MS)
• 3+ years of experience with AI/ML and GenAI
• Prior experience with real estate, meeting and events, hospitality platforms/applications
• Prior experience with software engineering and product architecture/design foundation (BCD, sequence diagrams, OOP/OOD, data structures, algorithms, code instrumentations)
• Prior experience with methodologies & tools like XP, Lean, SAFe, DevSecOps, SRE, ADO, GitHub, SonarQube
