Senior Principal Product Manager - Zelle Platform

About This Role

This Senior Principal Product Manager will define the multi-year product vision and drive the roadmap for the core Zelle platform, an at-scale payment network serving over 100 million users. The role involves leading cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Build internal and external coalitions and alignment on product strategy and execution across the Zelle platform.
• Influence cross-functional teams, executives, and customer leadership with strong vision, strategy, and product execution.
• Proactively assess customer needs across the product portfolio to maximize customer satisfaction and leverage feedback into insights.
• Drive strong go-to-market strategies with marketing, sales, analytics, design, and development partners to attain product revenue and client adoption targets.
• Oversee the integration of strong risk and security controls and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Define clear requirements, groom user stories, motivate technical teams, and partner closely with technology to deliver market solutions.
• Support the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
• Develop, own, and communicate the directory strategy and messaging framework for the Zelle Shared Directory.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with financial institutions and resellers, leading scalable data architecture transformation.
• Develop a strategy for how the platform can support Zelle’s growth into new lines of business and use cases.

Requirements

• 15+ years of related work experience
• Demonstrated experience in design thinking and agile development process and methodology
• Demonstrated leadership experience and cross-functional collaboration experience
• Proven experience in and passion for building and delivering great products
• Experience in recruiting and developing direct talent
• Demonstrated experience in setting a product strategy, roadmap and in meeting product revenue targets
• Demonstrated experience driving alignment at the executive and client leadership level
• Excellent listening and execution skills
• Background and drug screen
• Demonstrated expertise in directory or data platforms used by financial institutions or commercial product developers
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing platform strategies, taxonomies, policies, processes, and rules which enable growth while minimizing enterprise risks
• Demonstrated expertise in creating and implementing instrumentation of platform services, maintaining data integrity and quality, and gaining customer insights from the data
• Demonstrated product and people leadership skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 15 or more years of related work experience, with proven experience in building and delivering great products.

Nice to Have

• Master’s degree
• Certifications in design thinking and/or agile
• Prior experience working in payments, financial services or similar regulated industry
• People management experience
