About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a seasoned Senior Portfolio Manager to lead complex investment strategies, oversee diverse model portfolios, and elevate investment solutions within Wealth and Investment Management. This role involves developing and directing investment programs, managing securities and mutual funds, ensuring portfolio consistency with asset allocation strategy, and acting as a subject matter expert for specific asset classes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, recommend, and direct execution of investment programs across Wealth and Investment Management lines of businesses
  • Manage a significant number of individual securities and mutual funds
  • Ensure assigned centralized portfolios are consistent with guidance on asset allocation strategy
  • Ensure portfolio construction, security selection, and risk management are consistent with the mandate of the specific portfolio
  • Act as a Liaison or subject matter expert with Global Manager Research for specific asset classes and contributes to portfolio improvement and development
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for specific asset classes and contributes to portfolio improvement
  • Support the investment communication efforts and present information to internal advisors and teams

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Wealth Investment Portfolio Management experience

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Wealth Investment Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice to Have

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance or economics
  • A passion for investments and financial markets
  • A background in security research and selection
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in an evolving environment
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
  • Ability to collaborate with team members in a collegial setting
  • Experience working with research tools such as FactSet and Bloomberg
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience with Morningstar
