The Senior Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician supports Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy practice, providing expertise and direct patient interactions. This role also supports caregivers and department leadership in meeting clinical and operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in supporting Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy practice
- Perform regular Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician duties
- Engage in direct patient interactions
- Support caregivers in meeting clinical and operational goals
- Support department leadership in meeting clinical and operational goals
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician Or Oregon Pharmacy Technician License
- National Certified Pharmacy Technician certification (within 2 years of hire)
- 4 years Pharmacy Technician experience
Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- 4 years Pharmacy Technician experience.
Nice to Have
- Pharmacy technician program coursework/training
- 1 year Customer Service experience
- 1 year Work experience in Ambulatory pharmacy setting with high stress or high volume service
- 1 year Prior authorizations, financial assistance, patient interviewing experience
- 1 year EMR and Pharmacy Information System, patient monitoring devices, and vitals collection experience
