The Senior Operations Logistics Manager will serve as the day-to-day onsite technical and personnel lead supporting the PMA 299 Logistics Support Services Program Office. This role involves developing, operating, evaluating, and improving weapon systems supportability and maintainability programs.
Responsibilities
- Act as day-to-day onsite technical and personnel lead for TO for each APML
- Perform various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability or maintainability programs and information systems
- Work on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations
- Conduct technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources
- Develop logistics support and maintainability programs or plans
- Perform systems acquisition requirements analysis
- Conduct budgetary or financial analysis and control
- Perform LCC analysis and control
- Address weapons systems HW and SW standardization and compatibility
- Manage IPS/Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) program T&E planning and execution
- Manage IPS/R&M program management analysis
- Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, or apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information
- Develop, modify, prepare, or validate documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems and management information systems
- Be responsible to PSM
Requirements
- Secret Security Clearance
- US Citizenship
- MS or MA Degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, Engineering, or Management (or Bachelor's with 4 additional years of experience)
- 10+ years recent FTE experience in acquisition logistics support, operational logistics support, or maintenance engineering
- 3+ years Program Management experience
- 4+ years directing logisticians in comprehensive analysis across IPS elements
- NAVAIR knowledge/experience in Supply provisioning process
- NAVAIR knowledge/experience in BAM processes for sparing
- NAVAIR knowledge/experience in Allowancing/PUK process and procedures
- NAVAIR knowledge/experience in Contracting process for spares and repairs
- NAVAIR knowledge/experience in Property Governance, NERP, PIEE, PMART access
- NAVAIR knowledge/experience in DRMO/disposal processes
- NAVAIR knowledge/experience in ECP/TD process and procedures
Qualifications
- MS or MA Degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, Engineering, or Management
- At least ten (10) years' recent full-time experience in acquisition logistics support, operational logistics support, or maintenance engineering. Of those ten (10), at least three (3) years shall include Program Management experience. At least four (4) years directing acquisition or operations logisticians in comprehensive analysis across IPS elements.
