Senior Network Engineer

About This Role

This role is for a seasoned Network Engineer to design, implement, optimize, and support a complex, multi-site enterprise network, while maintaining highly available, secure, and scalable infrastructure across various network platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise routing and switching environments
• Lead configuration, optimization, and lifecycle management of Cisco, Juniper, and Meraki platforms
• Implement and support SD-WAN solutions including policy design, traffic engineering, and failover strategies
• Manage next-generation firewall technologies, VPNs, segmentation, and secure connectivity
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot outages, and drive root-cause analysis for complex incidents
• Participate in network architecture planning, capacity forecasting, and modernization efforts
• Create and maintain network diagrams, standards, and operational documentation
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, server, cloud, and application teams to ensure resilient integrations
• Provide escalation support for high-priority production issues
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to operational maturity and best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in network engineering
• Deep expertise in enterprise routing and switching
• Strong hands-on background with Palo Alto firewalls
• Proven experience implementing or supporting SD-WAN
• Ability to troubleshoot across layers (routing, security, transport)
• Experience working in distributed, multi-location environments
• Comfortable leading projects and making architecture recommendations
• Strong documentation and communication skills

• 5+ years of progressive experience in network engineering
