This role is responsible for the full life cycle of planning, scheduling, and execution of capital equipment field installations for Boston Scientific AF Solutions, ensuring customer needs and service level objectives are met, and supporting regional field sales strategy.
Responsibilities
- Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System and appropriate regulations.
- Collaborate with AF Solutions AVPs, Managers, and Reps to assist in the sale of capital and service and manage support to align with regional field-sales strategy.
- Build on-going communication and collaboration with local field sales teams for all capital product installations.
- Conduct pre-install planning, ensuring all equipment and hospital IS network requirements are met.
- Serve on-site as key lead of the installation process with the regional field team.
- Facilitate full transition to regional sales teams and mapping specialists after installations.
- Manage the requisitioning and allocation of all materials and supplies required to support core capital installation in a timely manner.
- Monitor on-time delivery of purchased goods and services to meet manufacturing needs while minimizing inventory investment.
- Meet with auditors during internal and external inspections concerning questions and observations relative to this department’s function.
- Analyze suppliers to establish expectations on installation and implementation strategy to better customer relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement of the S&OP and related business processes, ensuring standard utilization of available tools and establishing a methodology for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 7+ years of sales related work experience
- Technical aptitude; able to discuss, explain complex software algorithms
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to complete extensive training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales work experience
- 7+ years of sales related work experience
Nice to Have
- Medical device sales, clinical education and/or clinical research experience
- Master's degree
