Senior Member of Technical Staff

About This Role

This role offers the opportunity to build and operate a suite of massive scale, integrated cloud services within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The engineer will solve difficult problems in distributed highly available services and physical networking infrastructure, having significant technical and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems
• Provide technical leadership to other software developers
• Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development
• 2+ years of experience in developing large-scale distributed services/applications
• Proficiency with Java/Python/Go and Object Oriented programming
• Excellent knowledge of basic data structures, search/sort algorithms
• Experience with socket programming
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

Qualifications

• Graduate Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience in software development
