Senior Manager, Strategic Finance

About This Role

This role involves developing and shaping Flex's business and financial strategy as part of the Strategic Finance team. The position focuses on maximizing ROI, ensuring predictability, and connecting internal business operations with external perspectives for key strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a thinker and doer across teams, supporting strategic alignment, financial modeling, and data analysis
• Develop frameworks and processes to optimize resource allocation decisions
• Create and operate financial forecasting tools and operating models, collaborating with the Strategic Finance team to maximize predictability
• Support the creation of metrics, reporting, forecasting, and performance targets to align strategy, data, and measurement
• Help create a sophisticated understanding of unit economics to drive high ROI decision making
• Efficiently lead research gathering and data analysis to support problem-solving across functional areas
• Develop, deliver, and maintain insightful reporting on KPIs, growth trends, and operational metrics to key internal and external stakeholders
• Build clear communication and influence decision-making within groups and leadership audiences

Requirements

• Financial modeling wizardry and a deep understanding of fintech and/or financial services business models
• 5+ years of strategic finance, FP&A, biz ops, consulting or investment banking experience
• Highly analytical and interested in complex data analysis
• Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or relevant field
• 5+ years of strategic finance, FP&A, biz ops, consulting or investment banking experience

Nice to Have

• Direct experience with operations or strategy at high-growth tech company
• Experience with databases, SQL and BI tools
