Debug Technician

About This Role

The Debug Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical and electrical assemblies in a manufacturing environment, diagnosing issues, and collaborating with engineers to ensure product functionality.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical assemblies in equipment at the component level
• Handle units with workmanship or technical errors
• Operate electronic test equipment and conduct special tests as required
• Analyze software, test, protocol, and script logs to diagnose and verify reasons for test failure
• Verify causes for failures and determine whether to send for repair or retest
• Provide technical assistance, feedback, and guidance to other technical personnel and departments
• Collaborate with engineers on functionality issues and procedure updates
• Assist with the installation, debug, and validation of process equipment
• Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervisor
