As a Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics, you will lead the development and evolution of LegalZoom's marketing reporting and analytics program. This role is crucial for optimizing marketing investment decisions and capital allocation across brands, markets, and channels.
Responsibilities
- Own the evolution of marketing reporting across media channels, establishing new routines, developing frameworks, and constructing metrics for clear visibility and accountability.
- Further understanding of marketing dynamics, particularly attribution and incrementality, by spearheading analysis of attribution models, incrementality testing, and experimentation.
- Solve ambiguous, open-ended business problems by defining questions, developing analytical approaches, and leveraging large datasets to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Develop and manage marketing forecasting and modeling in partnership with channel marketing and Finance teams to inform budget allocation, scenario planning, and long-range business strategy.
- Shape the future of analytics by identifying emergent opportunities, including effective utilization of AI, and potentially define best practices for mentoring and managing other analysts.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in quantitative analytics with a focus on marketing analytics
- Advanced proficiency in SQL/Excel for data manipulation, extraction, and analysis
- Strong background in experimental design (A/B testing, multivariate), statistical analysis, and modeling constructs
- Robust data visualization and storytelling abilities, including experience building dashboards in Tableau, Thoughtspot, or equivalent tools
- Strong understanding of marketing trafficking and tracking mechanisms (GTM, UTMs, pixels, conversion APIs) across platforms (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok)
- Familiarity with multi-touch marketing attribution, incrementality methodologies, and marketing mix models
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate, understand, and effectively influence senior stakeholders
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in quantitative analytics with a focus on marketing analytics, including end-to-end ownership on open-ended analyses.
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services, consulting, tech, and e-commerce
- Experience utilizing Python, R, Hex
- Experience analyzing large marketing budgets (8-figure-plus) across diversity of channels
- Experience working with FP&A to create marketing financial models and forecasts
- Experience managing or mentoring junior analysts
