This role involves overall account management and business development for a portfolio of corporate clients within the Consumer Goods/Retail sector, focusing on treasury management, liquidity management, commercial card, and merchant processing needs. The consultant will establish strong relationships with client decision-makers and coordinate customized banking solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall account management and business development for corporate clients in Consumer Goods/Retail sector
- Establish connectivity and build relationships with client decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers
- Consult with corporate clients on treasury management, liquidity management, commercial card, and merchant processing needs
- Coordinate responses to client-issued Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and deliver customized proposals
- Develop ongoing account planning and strategy to ensure accountability of cross-functional partners and sales success
- Meet and exceed annual sales goals for pipeline development, revenue growth, and client-calling targets
- Participate in regular pipeline review calls to provide deal updates and track progression
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Product Sales Specialists, to design customized banking solutions
Requirements
- 7+ years of Treasury Management Sales experience
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Treasury Management Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Nice to Have
- Experience working with large corporate clients with annual revenues of $500MM or greater
- Deep knowledge of Treasury Management products and services, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Corporate Card programs
- Familiarity with consumer goods and retail industry dynamics
- Ability to advise senior leadership and influence long-term objectives
- Demonstrated success in resolving highly complex business challenges requiring advanced analytical and strategic thinking
- Exceptional ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships with large corporate clients
- Ability to collaborate across multiple business lines and functions to drive alignment and execution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
