Senior Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack Developer

About This Role

This Senior Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer will apply deep technical expertise to solve complex challenges across multiple applications within the Corporate Sector Cloud Financial Management Technology group at J.P. Morgan, focusing on delivering secure and scalable technology products and driving significant business impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, high-quality production code using Java and Python while reviewing and debugging peer contributions.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to internal teams, contractors, and vendors to support business objectives.
• Drive decisions influencing product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors regarding architectural designs and system applicability.
• Automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience
• Advanced proficiency in Java and Python
• Technical knowledge of cloud technologies including AWS, GCP, ReactJS, Terraform, and ETL processes
• Proven experience in system design, application development, testing, and cloud-native operations
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security protocols

Qualifications

• Five or more years of applied software engineering experience
