Senior Consultant - Pigment

About This Role

As a Senior Consultant, you will deliver high-quality consulting services to clients, focusing on implementing and optimizing Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) systems. This role involves understanding client business needs, configuring FP&A solutions, and ensuring successful deployment and adoption.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and challenges, providing tailored solutions to improve finance operations
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the client's FP&A function
• Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to support client decision-making
• Lead the configuration, customization, and deployment of Pigment FP&A software for clients
• Design and implement best practices for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to provide insights into financial performance
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy during the migration and integration processes
• Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality and performance
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project milestones are met
• Create and maintain user documentation and system guides
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for client end-users
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for FP&A system users

Requirements

• 4+ years of consulting experience in a professional services setting
• 3+ years in FP&A, Finance, and/or accounting roles
• 2+ years' experience in FP&A software and tools, to include Pigment and Anaplan or Adaptive Insights (Workday)
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• 1+ years' experience of working in an ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, SAP) environment
• 1+ years' experience working with system implementation methodologies (requirements gathering, design, build/test, deploy), with a preference for Agile approaches
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field from an accredited university

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field from an accredited university
• 4+ years of consulting experience, 3+ years in FP&A/Finance/Accounting, 2+ years with FP&A software (Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights), 1+ years with ERP systems, and 1+ years with system implementation methodologies (Agile preferred)

Nice to Have

• 4+ years' experience in financial systems and business processes including financial planning processes and their implementation within large organizations
• 1+ years' experience in interpreting complex business data requirements and build analytical models and data feeds that deliver actionable insights
• 1+ years' experience working in a client facing role
• 1+ years' experience managing engagements or parts of larger projects
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
• 1+ years' experience in mentoring and counseling junior staff
