Senior Construction Manager with Security Clearance

About This Role

Lead all aspects of construction and engineering development, focusing on new business capture, growth, opportunity development, and mission delivery. This role requires strategic thinking and hands-on project management for domestic and international projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify, validate, and support new business opportunities within the engineering and construction sectors
• Develop and execute strategies to expand company presence and market share
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
• Support the bid and proposal process to win new programs
• Oversee the preparation and submission of bids and proposals for construction projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for accurate and competitive proposals
• Lead pricing and cost estimation efforts
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine bid strategies
• Provide strategic oversight for the successful execution of construction, engineering, and infrastructure development programs
• Develop project resource plans and select key project resources and partnerships

Requirements

• More than 10 years of experience with deep field experience
• Hands-on Construction Project Management Experience
• Ability to read and interpret Building, Technology, and Engineering Architectural Drawings
• Strong Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Projects)
• US Citizenship
• Active US Top Secret or higher security clearance
• Proven track record of successful business development and growth within the construction industry
• Extensive experience in bid and proposal preparation and knowledge of competitive landscape and Cost Estimation
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• In-depth knowledge of construction project management principles, techniques, and best practices
• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• More than 10 years of experience with deep field experience and hands-on construction project management

• Advanced degree
• Specialized Trade Certification and skills
• Ability to use CAD, BIM, Revit, and other Design Drawing tools and Software
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam
• Experience Developing Schedules and using tools like Primavera and Projects
• Civil Engineering Background
• Past performance on Embassy, Consulate, or secure compound projects
• Familiarity with SCIF design, blast protection, and CPTED principles
• Active Security Clearance or ability to obtain
• PMP or CCM certification
