About This Role

Lead construction execution for the Radiation Portal Monitor Project program, overseeing multi-site field operations and integrating engineering, procurement, and construction into a unified delivery model for critical national security infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop construction execution strategy, organizational structure, and field leadership approach
  • Oversee on-site operations across all active RPM installations and upgrades
  • Integrate constructability with engineering and procurement workflows
  • Approve subcontracting strategies, vendor selections, and commercial negotiations
  • Champion safety, quality, and compliance across all job sites
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, cost-to-complete, cash flow, and schedule performance
  • Build and maintain executive-level client relationships with federal stakeholders
  • Mentor project directors, site leaders, and field supervisors
  • Support proposal development, ROM estimates, and long-term program growth

Requirements

  • 15+ years leading construction management for large-scale federal or industrial projects
  • Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal construction compliance
  • Experience delivering projects for DHS, GSA, DOE, or similar agencies
  • Proven success managing multi-million-dollar portfolios
  • Deep understanding of engineering workflows, procurement cycles, and construction methods
  • Expertise in contracting, change management, claims, negotiations, and commercial risk
  • Demonstrated leadership in safety, quality, operational excellence, and field execution
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 15+ years leading construction management for large-scale federal or industrial projects

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Experience with complex security or detection system installations
  • Strong subcontractor leadership and federal client-facing communication skills
  • Ability to manage distributed teams across multiple states and environments
