Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

About This Role

Join Deloitte's AI & Engineering team to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and automated cloud-native environments for clients. This role involves architecting mission-critical systems, supporting application development, and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and automated cloud-native environments
• Play a key role in architecting and delivering mission-critical systems and supporting both frontend and backend application development
• Work with AWS serverless technologies, CI/CD automation, IaC, and containerized workloads
• Help with mentoring of junior engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS DevOps
• 4+ years experience with CI/CD Pipeline builds (Git)
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Active TS Clearance and hold a minimum of an Active Secret security clearance
• Residence within a commutable distance to Gilbert, AZ, Lake Mary, FL, or Mechanicsburg, PA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS DevOps and CI/CD Pipeline builds

Nice to Have

• Cloud native language experience (Lambda, Node.js, Python, Go)
• API Gateway Experience
• Exposure to cloud automation and deployment tools (CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform, Chef)
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS EKS, AWS ECS)
