Senior Associate, Asset Management

About This Role

This Senior Associate will be instrumental in managing a large and diverse specialized residential real estate portfolio, focusing on driving portfolio performance and supporting high volumes of transaction activity. They will contribute to shaping new processes during a rebuild of the Asset Management function within a leading institutional real estate platform.

Responsibilities

• Support the active management of a large, diverse specialized residential portfolio across multiple markets
• Take ownership of analysis and execution across a heavy deal pipeline, including acquisitions, refinancings, recapitalizations, and disposition strategy
• Enhance reporting frameworks, dashboards, and asset-level insights to improve decision-making and portfolio visibility
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, investments, finance, and external capital partners to optimize value
• Contribute to building new processes, tools, and playbooks in an environment where legacy systems are being upgraded
• Monitor business plans, forecast performance, interpret financial and operational data, and support hold/sell recommendations
• Engage with JV partners, lenders, and institutional co-investors, representing the platform in a polished, commercial manner
• Support a collaborative, integrated team culture where initiative, accountability, and continuous improvement are expected

Requirements

• 3-7+ years' experience in real estate asset management or investments
• Strong exposure to institutional-grade real estate environments
• Comfort working with sophisticated capital partners
• Strong fluency in interpreting models, financials, and operational performance metrics
• Ability to thrive in an organization going through change, realignment, and high deal velocity
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work closely with senior internal and external stakeholders
• A proactive, solutions-led approach and resilience to operate in a fast-paced, performance-driven culture

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years' experience in real estate asset management or investments, ideally covering residential, niche living, multifamily, or other specialized housing categories
