This Senior Associate will be instrumental in managing a large and diverse specialized residential real estate portfolio, focusing on driving portfolio performance and supporting high volumes of transaction activity. They will contribute to shaping new processes during a rebuild of the Asset Management function within a leading institutional real estate platform.
Responsibilities
- Support the active management of a large, diverse specialized residential portfolio across multiple markets
- Take ownership of analysis and execution across a heavy deal pipeline, including acquisitions, refinancings, recapitalizations, and disposition strategy
- Enhance reporting frameworks, dashboards, and asset-level insights to improve decision-making and portfolio visibility
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, investments, finance, and external capital partners to optimize value
- Contribute to building new processes, tools, and playbooks in an environment where legacy systems are being upgraded
- Monitor business plans, forecast performance, interpret financial and operational data, and support hold/sell recommendations
- Engage with JV partners, lenders, and institutional co-investors, representing the platform in a polished, commercial manner
- Support a collaborative, integrated team culture where initiative, accountability, and continuous improvement are expected
Requirements
- 3-7+ years' experience in real estate asset management or investments
- Strong exposure to institutional-grade real estate environments
- Comfort working with sophisticated capital partners
- Strong fluency in interpreting models, financials, and operational performance metrics
- Ability to thrive in an organization going through change, realignment, and high deal velocity
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work closely with senior internal and external stakeholders
- A proactive, solutions-led approach and resilience to operate in a fast-paced, performance-driven culture
Qualifications
- 3-7+ years' experience in real estate asset management or investments, ideally covering residential, niche living, multifamily, or other specialized housing categories
