Senior, Accounting and Financial Reporting

About This Role

This role involves collaborating with finance and accounting teams to provide day-to-day accounting and controllership support while ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful financial information for stakeholders. The Senior will drive period-end accounting processes, review transactions, and support compliance with US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Drive period, quarter, and year-end accounting processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy within established deadlines
• Review and approve journal entries
• Analyze, interpret, and understand financial data to ensure reported amounts are accurate and aligned with expectations
• Support the review of business transactions to ensure compliance with US GAAP and firm policies
• Support capitalization accounting and compliance with US GAAP and firm policy; lead the quarterly review for intangible asset impairments
• Collaborate effectively with teams across Finance & Administration to review accounting transactions
• Support the implementation and execution of key controls and processes
• Responsible for various analyses, ad-hoc reporting, and special reporting requests
• Participate in broader Controllership transformation initiatives and other ad hoc projects
• Support in executing process improvement opportunities to improve efficiency, increase digitization, enhance value created, and delivered by Controllership
• Identify opportunities to transform processes utilizing technology enablers
• Partner with peers within and across other A&C teams to share ideas and collaborate on ways to improve Controllership processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 4+ years of relevant Finance or Accounting experience
• Understanding of US GAAP and methodologies for technical research

• CPA and/or MBA
• Data analysis skillsets and experience with the use of advanced technologies
• Proficiency in Tableau or PowerBI
• Understanding and proficiency of SAP and other financial applications
• Advanced understanding of data science and visualization tools (Python, SQL)
• Machine learning algorithms
• Artificial intelligence software
