This role involves collaborating with finance and accounting teams to provide day-to-day accounting and controllership support while ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful financial information for stakeholders. The Senior will drive period-end accounting processes, review transactions, and support compliance with US GAAP.
Responsibilities
- Drive period, quarter, and year-end accounting processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy within established deadlines
- Review and approve journal entries
- Analyze, interpret, and understand financial data to ensure reported amounts are accurate and aligned with expectations
- Support the review of business transactions to ensure compliance with US GAAP and firm policies
- Support capitalization accounting and compliance with US GAAP and firm policy; lead the quarterly review for intangible asset impairments
- Collaborate effectively with teams across Finance & Administration to review accounting transactions
- Support the implementation and execution of key controls and processes
- Responsible for various analyses, ad-hoc reporting, and special reporting requests
- Participate in broader Controllership transformation initiatives and other ad hoc projects
- Support in executing process improvement opportunities to improve efficiency, increase digitization, enhance value created, and delivered by Controllership
- Identify opportunities to transform processes utilizing technology enablers
- Partner with peers within and across other A&C teams to share ideas and collaborate on ways to improve Controllership processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 4+ years of relevant Finance or Accounting experience
- Understanding of US GAAP and methodologies for technical research

Nice to Have
- Professional services firm experience
- CPA and/or MBA
- Data analysis skillsets and experience with the use of advanced technologies
- Proficiency in Tableau or PowerBI
- Understanding and proficiency of SAP and other financial applications
- Advanced understanding of data science and visualization tools (Python, SQL)
- Machine learning algorithms
- Artificial intelligence software
