Senior, Accounting and Financial Reporting

About This Role

This Senior role involves collaborating with finance and accounting teams to provide day-to-day accounting and controllership support for enterprise solutions. The Senior will ensure timely, accurate, and insightful financial information is delivered to stakeholders. This position contributes to the financial health of the U.S. member firm and its subsidiaries by monitoring business transactions and enforcing accounting policy.

Responsibilities

• Drive period, quarter, and year-end accounting processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy of financial information
• Review and approve journal entries
• Analyze, interpret, and understand financial data to ensure reported amounts are accurate and aligned with expectations
• Support the review of business transactions to ensure compliance with US GAAP and firm policies
• Support capitalization accounting and compliance with US GAAP and firm policy; lead the quarterly review for intangible asset impairments
• Collaborate effectively with teams across Finance & Administration to review accounting transactions
• Support the implementation and execution of key controls and processes
• Responsible for various analyses, ad-hoc reporting, and special reporting requests
• Participate in broader Controllership transformation initiatives and other ad hoc projects
• Support in executing process improvement opportunities to improve efficiency, increase digitization, enhance value created, and delivered by Controllership
• Identify opportunities to transform processes utilizing technology enablers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 4+ years of relevant Finance or Accounting experience
• Understanding of US GAAP and methodologies for technical research
• Ability to understand and support application of operational and technical accounting
• Ability to adapt and respond to change and uncertainty
• Process-improvement mindset
• Strong interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written)
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Analytical skills with the ability to solve problems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of relevant Finance or Accounting experience
