About This Role

Manage and enforce physical access protocols for a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), ensuring compliance with national security directives and protecting classified information. This role supports daily program operations, physical security, and information security.

Responsibilities

• Manage physical access to a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF)
• Verify clearances and escort visitors
• Monitor security systems (cameras, alarms)
• Secure classified media before entry and enforce strict protocols to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches
• Perform open/close operations of SCIF
• Issue visitor badges and maintain visitor logs
• Conduct random inspections of personnel and equipment
• Protect and operate classified document control
• Support CSSO/ACSSO with daily program support, physical security, information security, and document and access control
• Implement national security directives with specific emphasis on DoDM 5105.21, 32 CFR Part 117, and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs)

Requirements

• Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
• U.S. Citizenship

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or 2 years post-Secondary/Associate’s degree
• Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience with a 2 years post-Secondary/Associate’s degree

• Experience working within a SCIF
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner
• Ability to interact with persons of varying importance, multi-cultural customers, and personnel
• Ability to work under stressful conditions
