Security Shift Supervisor - Unarmed

About This Role

This role is for a Professional Security Shift Supervisor who will oversee and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on a specific shift. The supervisor will act as a liaison between site management and security officers, providing coaching and discipline as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on an assigned shift
• Act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline for staff on assigned shift
• Prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
• Read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
• Handle both common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent OR 5 years verifiable experience
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public professionally
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs legibly
• Ability to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Intermediate computer skills
• Successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
• Supervisor experience preferred; 5 years verifiable experience can substitute for education
