Serve as a Security Officer at a logistics and distribution center, managing front desk operations, access control, and monitoring security systems. This role is a primary point of contact for visitors and internal teams, contributing to a safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following security procedures and site-specific policies
- Staff the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, drivers, and vendors
- Manage access control by processing sign-in/sign-out logs and verifying identification
- Issue visitor credentials and maintain orderly lobby traffic
- Monitor security-related systems and communications
- Document unusual activity and report concerns to site leadership
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, assisting with documentation and emergency procedures
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles)
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- Ability to pass a drug screen
Qualifications
