Security Officer - Warehouse Reception

About This Role

Serve as a Security Officer at a logistics and distribution center, managing front desk operations, access control, and monitoring security systems. This role is a primary point of contact for visitors and internal teams, contributing to a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security procedures and site-specific policies
• Staff the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, drivers, and vendors
• Manage access control by processing sign-in/sign-out logs and verifying identification
• Issue visitor credentials and maintain orderly lobby traffic
• Monitor security-related systems and communications
• Document unusual activity and report concerns to site leadership
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, assisting with documentation and emergency procedures

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen
