Security Officer - Warehouse Check-In

About This Role

As a Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Omaha, NE, you will safeguard clients by managing access control, monitoring security systems, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and employees at a front desk within a logistics and distribution location
• Control access by greeting and screening entrants, verifying identification, issuing temporary badges, and maintaining a professional lobby presence
• Answer and route phone calls, radio traffic, and service requests
• Relay messages to appropriate contacts and support routine front-desk administrative tasks such as logs and basic reports
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and entry systems from the front desk
• Report irregular conditions and follow escalation steps per site-specific policies
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Coordinate notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate

Requirements

• 6+ months of security experience
• Be at least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles) or 21+ years of age (for armed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• high school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months of security experience

Nice to Have

• Customer service experience
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet
