Security Officer - Utilities Site Patrol Driver

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in the utilities industry by conducting routine vehicle patrols, deterring security incidents, and providing a visible presence. Monitor access points, assist visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior
• Monitor access points and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to management and/or law enforcement as needed
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrol
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while upholding Allied Universal's standards for customer service
• Support the implementation of site-specific procedures related to utilities locations, including adherence to protocols for restricted areas and/or critical infrastructure

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• At least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• Access control or badge experience
• Customer service experience
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet
• Primarily driving post
