Serve and safeguard clients in an educational setting by monitoring and patrolling campus areas, conducting routine rounds, and responding to incidents as a Security Officer - University Patrol Driver.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors
- Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter
- Monitor access points and assist with traffic flow during peak campus activity or special events
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
- Observe, document, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues
- Provide assistance with locating buildings, providing directions, and supporting authorized escorts
- Operate and monitor campus security-related systems such as radios, key control processes, and/or camera systems
- Complete routine patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ years law enforcement experience OR 2+ years security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years security experience
- Valid driver's license
- At least 18 years of age (unarmed roles)
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

- Alarm panel experience
- Access control and/or badge experience
