Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Route Driver

About This Role

As an Unarmed Patrol Route Driver, you will serve and safeguard clients in various industries, conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government port location
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, administrative areas, roadways, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions
• Monitor access points and vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow, verifying authorization as required and directing individuals to the appropriate location
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts
• Complete security-related reports and daily activity logs, document incidents accurately, and communicate relevant updates to supervision and site leadership

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• TSA issued TWIC
• Proof of high school diploma and/or GED
• Be at least 18 years of age

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or GED

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
