As an Unarmed Patrol Route Driver, you will serve and safeguard clients in various industries, conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government port location
- Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, administrative areas, roadways, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions
- Monitor access points and vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow, verifying authorization as required and directing individuals to the appropriate location
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts
- Complete security-related reports and daily activity logs, document incidents accurately, and communicate relevant updates to supervision and site leadership
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- TSA issued TWIC
- Proof of high school diploma and/or GED
- Be at least 18 years of age
