Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients as an unarmed patrol driver in Yuma, AZ, conducting mobile patrols and responding to service calls to ensure a visible security presence. This role offers flexible part-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors following Allied Universal post orders and site-specific policies
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing
• Help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification and processing visitors and contractors
• Monitor alarms, access control systems, and/or video surveillance
• Respond to suspicious activity, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally
• Document routine activity and incident response in written reports and logs
• Communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Be at least 18 years of age

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Guard card/license
• Alarm panel experience
