As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver, you will safeguard clients in a healthcare setting by conducting routine patrols, visibly deterring incidents, and assisting staff and visitors. You will also respond to critical situations and complete necessary documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and providing emergency response when appropriate in a healthcare location
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, disputes, and/or disruptive behavior, and report concerns per post orders
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations
- Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and assisting with visitor management processes as assigned
- Complete required documentation such as shift logs, incident reports, and patrol activity records, and communicate security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma and/or GED
