Security Officer - Roving Patrol Driver

About This Role

As a Part-Time Security Officer - Roving Patrol Driver in Savannah, GA, you will safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense. You will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, deter incidents, support access control, and respond to calls for service with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the proper channels
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, hangar areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access
• Monitor and control access through gates and doors, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership

Requirements

• Valid driver's license in the state where the job is located
• 1+ years of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years of security-related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 21 or more years of age

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years of law enforcement experience OR 2 or more years of security supervisor and/or manager experience OR 3 or more years of security-related experience

Nice to Have

• CPR and/or First Aid certification (may be completed post hire)
