Security Officer - Roving Patrol

About This Role

As a Security Officer in Warrenton, VA, you will patrol assigned areas and maintain a visible presence to reduce security-related incidents, safeguarding clients and supporting staff, patients, and visitors with professional service. This role involves responding to incidents, monitoring access points, and completing reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with clinical staff and/or local responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, assisting with directions, wayfinding, and compliance with facility rules while documenting unusual activity.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports, activity logs, and shift handoffs, and communicate relevant security-related information to supervisors and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background investigation.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
