Security Officer - Rover Patrol

About This Role

As a Security Officer - Rover Patrol, you will safeguard clients in various industries, primarily government, by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, documenting observations, and responding to security incidents while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site employees and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas
• Document observations and report unusual activity to appropriate contacts
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation
• Control access to government facilities by checking identification, verifying authorization, and managing visitor sign-in
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems
• Complete written reports and logs, and communicate relevant information during shift changes

Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age for armed roles; at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen if permitted by law

Qualifications

• A Private Investigator License unarmed
