Security Officer Production Plant Driver

About This Role

As a Security Officer - Production Plant Driver, you will serve and safeguard clients in a manufacturing and industrial setting by patrolling the property, performing visible rounds, and supporting access points. This role contributes to a safe environment and requires strong customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions
• Monitor access points and visitor and/or contractor activity in accordance with site requirements, including checking identification and directing people to the proper locations
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or suspicious activity to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision
• Complete required reports and logs such as patrol activity, incident documentation, and shift turnover notes using site-approved systems and procedures

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen

Qualifications

• high school diploma or equivalent
