Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol Driver

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in aerospace and defense as a Security Officer, primarily conducting perimeter patrols in a driving post and assisting with access control and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification and credentials, directing visitors, and documenting entries and exits.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and public services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and management.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• At least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Entry-level position. Customer service experience preferred.

Nice to Have

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet
• CPR certification
