Security Officer - Patrol Driver Part-Time

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in various industries, conducting routine foot and vehicle patrols, supporting access control, and documenting security-related activity as a Part-Time Security Officer in El Dorado, KS.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to site personnel and/or public responders
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including buildings, processing areas, tank farms, and perimeter routes
• Control access at designated entry points by checking credentials, managing visitor and contractor logs, and directing traffic flow
• Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and/or other communication systems
• Document unusual activity, hazards, and incidents in written reports and communicate findings to supervision

Requirements

• 6+ Months Security Experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Be at least 18 years of age

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months of security experience

Nice to Have

• Customer Service Experience
• Access Control/Badge Experience
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet
