Security Officer - Patrol Driver

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in various industries, including aero/defense, as an unarmed patrol officer. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, communicate with team members, and document observations to deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate for an aerospace and defense location
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report details according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions
• Monitor entry and exit points and verify identification, badges, and/or visitor credentials while maintaining accurate logs and required documentation
• Communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or operational issues observed during patrols and routine checks

Requirements

• An active DoD Secret clearance
• A valid driver's license
• At least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles)
• High school diploma or equivalent
