As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver, you will serve and safeguard clients in Owensville, IN, primarily within the utilities sector. This role involves monitoring assigned areas, completing routine rounds, and providing a visible security presence through patrols, including operating a company vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or public emergency services as appropriate
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, yards, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity
- Control access points by checking identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing deliveries and contractors to designated areas per site policy
- Complete timely documentation such as daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management
Requirements
- Proof of high school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
